Easy Process to Create SPARSH Login ID and Password

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

To start the process, firstly, go to the official SPARSH pension portal (https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in/) website. This is the only official website authorized by the Ministry of Defence for all pension-related services. Avoid using any other links to ensure your information stays secure.

Step 2: Log In Using Your PPO Number and Suffix

For this process, you need to check whether you have received your migrated pension account details on your registered phone number or email address. Once you have received your PPO number, you can start the process.

• You can start by entering your PPO Number along with the correct suffix in the SPARSH pension login box.
  • 01 for self-pensioners
  • 02, 03, etc. for family pensioners, depending on their order in the PPO
• Then, you are required to fill in the password, enter the captcha and then click LOGIN.

• Additionally, if you do not receive a password, then you can click on Forgot Password and proceed to create a new password:

• Next, fill in your username which is your PPO Number in the given field

• Then, click on send OTP, and you will receive an OTP. Make sure to fill it in the mentioned space.

• In the next step, you will see a pop up box to confirm whether you want to change the password or not, click OK to move ahead.

• Next you see a pop up saying you have been sent a default password on your registered mobile number. Check your message and go back to SPARSH login button and fill in the ID and password and click on LOGIN.

• Now, once you have clicked on the login button, it will take you to a Change Password page. Enter your current password and New password. Make sure to create a strong password for proper safety.

• The moment you click the SUBMIT button, you will see the following pop box mentioning that you have successfully changed your password. Next, you will have to login again using the new password to access the SPARSH portal services.

At last, once you have logged in using your newly created password, you will once last pop up a box mentioning that your pension migrated data is currently available in read only mode. You need to check them all individually and submit them to finalize the migration process. You can also make changes by going in the Manage Profile section, if you find any discrepancies in the details.
